Specimen Volume
This term refers to the average number of specimens to be stored in tube.tracker® each day. This includes test tubes, aliquots, urine containers, culture plates, or anything else you want managed by the system.
If you are unsure of this value, you can estimate using a multiple of your daily accession volume (4-5 for hospitals and 1.5-2 for reference labs).
